But buyers who want a Museum Park home with a Michigan Avenue location are running out of options, as the 33-story, 250-unit 1400 Museum Park, located at the corner of Michigan and 14th Street, is down to just a handful of unsold condos.
Seven three-bedroom / two-bath homes, all 01-tier units with 1,667 square feet, are still for sale at prices from the $620s to $640s. They are located on the northwest corner of the tower’s eighth through 14th floor and have views to both the north and east.
Two two-bedroom / two-baths are still available through the developer. One, a 1,387 square-foot, northwest-corner on the 17th floor, is priced in the $470s; the other, a 1,386 square-foot, east-facing unit on the 32nd floor, is listed in the $590s.
The lone one-bedroom / one-bath left in the building is an 839 square-foot, west-facing home on the west side of the tower’s 18th floor.
Every residence at the Pappageorge / Haymes-designed tower has 9-foot ceiling heights; floor-to-ceiling windows; hardwood floors in the living / dining areas, kitchens, and foyers; carpeting in the bedrooms; and private balconies or terraces. Kitchens boast wood cabinets; granite countertops; breakfast bars; white-on-white, black-on-black, or stainless-steel appliance packages; and double-bowl stainless-steel sinks. Master baths are finished with ceramic tile floors and shower / tub surrounds; marble vanity tops; and wood cabinetry.
Residents have access to a number of on-site luxuries including an indoor heated pool and whirlpool on the tower’s top floor, a state-of-the-art fitness center with city and neighborhood views, and a lounge and kitchen for meetings, parties, or relaxation. Other amenities include a 24-hour door staff, full-time building engineer, on-site property manager, individual storage lockers, dog run, and bicycle storage.
A space in 1400 Museum Park’s indoor heated garage is $35,000.
