Food drives and "unheard-of" prices at Lake Forest's Amberley Woods

Amberley Woods hosted a food drive for the food pantries of Lake County on Thursday, so Joe Zekas took the opportunity to talk to those closely involved with the event and the development: Coldwell Banker agent and North Shore real estate expert Linda Martin; Michele Wilson and Mary Pat Lundgren, also of Coldwell Banker; and Tim Grogan of Residential Homes of America, Amberley Woods' builder.

Prices at this Lake Forest development start in the high $290s for a two-bedroom / two-bath -- which, according to Mary Pat, is "unheard of in Lake Forest" -- and go up to the $670s.
