Remembering the Glenview Naval Air Station

At The Glen Town Center one afternoon, Joe and Jordan Zekas met a man who was stationed there more than 60 years. He later served on the USS Franklin. Typical of most veterans of that era he neglected to mention that his crew, which took more than 1,000 casualties, is known as the most decorated in US naval history.
