Developer Mitch Newman's career in home-building began when he was walking job sites with his father, also a developer. Mitch has a passion for design and detail that he's followed in the customized condos his company built at 1227 E 46th St in North Kenwood and embellished with one-of-a-kind detailing.

This is the first segment of a multi-part look at Strategem Home Builders' Lake Park Gateway II, which is in an area that's seen a ton of new construction and is just a few blocks away from President Obama's Chicago residence.
